Gerard Pique has opened up about the criticisms he has been facing ever since the split up with his ex Shakira. In a recent interview, Pique reportedly talked about how the Colombian pop star’s fans have criticized him and his family following the incident.
While talking about what he faced, Pique said, “My ex-partner, Shakira. You don’t know the criticism I’ve been getting from her fans. It’s huge. But I don’t care at all. I don’t know them in real life. They have no life and only know how to criticize. They are like robots. Why should I give them any importance?”
Pique then went off to say, “I don’t mind the criticism I’ve received from fans of my ex-partner, Shakira. If I make a big deal out of it, I’m dead. Many times in my career, I’ve thought that if they criticize me. And if I give them importance, it’s a message that they won.”
In the last few months, Pique and Shakira are reportedly the hot topics among netizens. Though many people think Shakira is the victim of this saga, both parties have reportedly gained a lot of public attention because of this split.
Pique is currently dating a 23-year-old PR student, Clara Chia Marti. Shakira along with her kids Sasha and Milan are reportedly to move to Miami, America. Although reports also suggest Shakira might be having a newfound love affair in Miami. And that might be one of the reasons for her shifting to the USA.

Pique angry that his kids will start going to school in Miami from as soon as April 11
Sources close to Pique, Mamarazzis claims that Pique is angry about his kids joining the school in Miami on April 11. Pique reportedly doesn’t want the kids, Sasha and Milan, to move during the school year.
Talking about the situation, Mamarazzis said, “He is very angry because he was given very little notice.” The podcast also added that in addition to the notice from the lawyers, Shakira also phoned the former footballer to tell him that the children have a place at the exclusive Miami Country Day school.
The Journalist then added, “Pique disagrees with the plan for the children to leave now. And he also doesn’t agree with not finishing the current school year in Barcelona“.
The fact that Shakira and her children are leaving for Miami during Easter week is no coincidence. And there are two reasons for it. One reason is that Shakira has custody of the children during this week. While the other reason is that April 11 is the date when children in the United States return to school after spring break. It seems that Shakira is getting her way in this battle. She is keen to begin her family’s new life in the USA as soon as possible.
