Gerard Pique was spotted with his kids in a restaurant on South Beach, Miami. He is visiting his children after agreeing with Shakira to live there to protect them from the Spanish press. Pique’s visit to see his children, Milan and Sasha, follows his previous trip with Clara Chia to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. According to reports from Spanish media outlets, the trip was planned as a birthday surprise for Clara.
The Catalan stayed in a luxury hotel after arriving in Miami. He, among other destinations, visited a pizzeria with a Neapolitan-style atmosphere. There were shirts, portraits and flags of Napoli, who will soon become the new Serie A champions, on the walls. The establishment in question, La Leggenda Pizzeria, shared a photo of the footballer’s visit on social media.
Journalists also claimed that Pique is already looking for a house in Miami. He reportedly intends to modify the separation agreement and the custody of the children. He plans for it to become shared custody, with the ex-couple living in the same city. According to reports, the former defender had already been evaluating candidate properties last December.

The relationship between the former Barcelona player and the Colombian artist is not going through its best moment after the separation due to a specific issue. According to journalist Jordi Martin, the discussions focus on the number of days that Pique can visit his children.
Sources suggest both parties agreed that the former defender could spend ten days a month with Milan and Sasha. The problem occurred after the arrival of Piqué. “The war broke out again because he arrives on the 26th in Miami and says he wants the children for ten days. Shakira says no, that he has ten days a month to enjoy the children and that it is not her fault that he arrives on the 26th,″ Martin explained.
In addition to the right to see the children for ten days a month in Miami, Gerard Pique can also take Milan and Sasha to Spain to spend time with their grandparents or travel to other parts of the world during that period.
Furthermore, Pique is entitled to vacation periods that align with his children’s school breaks. This includes Thanksgiving in November, the Christmas holidays, and Spring break. It has been reported that the kids‘ time during the summer breaks will be split between Shakira and Pique.
