FC Barcelona legend Gerard Pique was spotted in Paris, attending an NBA game between Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons. Pique visited the arena alone, but was mostly accompanied by renowned supermodel Irina Shayk. Irina Shayk was the long-term girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo previously. According to reports, Irina and Pique spent some time with each other after the game as well.

The Russian star clicked plenty of pictures with Gerard Pique as she sat by his side for the most part of the game. The former footballer also linked up with Chicago Bulls player Goran Dragic during their dominating display over Pistons. The retired Spanish World Cup winner also attended a few Fashion Week events with Cristiano Ronaldo‘s former partner.

According to MARCA, Gerard Pique and Irina Shayk looked comfortable with each other as the Spaniard wrapped the model from her waist to pose for the media. After dating Cristiano Ronaldo for five years, Irina Shayk and the footballer broke up in 2015. Seven years later, the 37-year-old model is once again spotted with one of the most prolific footballers of this generation.

He was often spotted zoned out deep in his own thoughts during the NBA game. It is believed that Gerard Pique’s visit to Paris might have been an escape from the Spanish media.

It has been an emotional year for the 2010 World Cup winner with Spain. Pique recently announced his retirement from professional football as he played his last game for Barcelona against Osasuna. Unfortunately, he received a red card and was sent off in his last professional match for dissent.

Gerard Pique seems to be struggling after his split with ex-lover Shakira. The renowned couple dated for more than a decade but broke up after Shakira caught the Spaniard cheating on her back in 2021. Gerard Pique and Shakira have been in a legal and emotional battle ever since. Reports have suggested that Shakira might also be moving away with her kids to the USA to start a new life.
