Colombian popstar Shakira claimed that the relationship between Gerard Pique and ex-manager Pep Guardiola was very tense. Shakira and Pique broke up after an 11-year-long relationship. Pique cheated on the singer with a much younger Spanish woman Clara Chia Marti.
In a recent interview, Shakira claimed that Pique and Guardiola had a very tense relationship during the Spanish manager’s time at Barca. Shakira said, “Gerard had a rather complicated relationship with Barca. With Guardiola, he had a super-tense relationship, of ‘you go or I go’. It was a situation that made him suffer a lot.”
Shakira further claimed that Pique almost thought it was time for him to find a new adventure elsewhere in 2014 and thus was allegedly planning a move to Manchester United. This was reportedly because, according to Shakira, Luis Enrique told Pique that he would be sitting on the bench quite a lot.
But the move in 2014 ultimately didn’t happen. Pique stayed at FC Barcelona for the rest of his career. Although he throughout his career has appreciated Manchester United as he thought them to be an important part of his growth. Pique said, “I learned so much during my time at United. Sharing a dressing room with Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Ryan Giggs at such a young age was an amazing experience. I didn’t play as much as I would have liked but it was a masters degree in development both as a player and a person.”

Shakira hits the top of the list as the most viewed female artist on YouTube following her diss track hits on Pique
Shakira, a Colombian popstar, has been the most-watched female artist on YouTube so far this year. The singer has been making it to the headlines following her breakup with her long-term lover and partner Gerard Pique.
According to a recent poll, Shakira has received 3 billion views this year. On the same list, she was followed by Karol G and Black Pink, who had 2.60 billion and 2.16 billion views, respectively. The list also had names like Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift.
Shakira had been linked to dating some of the famous figures in the world like Tom Cruise and Jimmy Butler, since her split with Pique. The latest name that’s linked to her is the F1 driver Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton and Shakira had been spotted together in multiple places. Shakira was seen at the Spanish Grand Prix. It was the same competition where Hamilton was also participating and came second as Max Verstappen won. The alleged couple were later seen enjoying dinner with friends at a restaurant in Barcelona.
Shakira released quite a few of her creations after she left Pique. Most of her latest songs are allegedly aimed at her ex Pique. These songs received much more reaction than was anticipated and many are suggesting that it is because of the ongoing controversial situation between the former couple. Seems like the breakup reportedly affected Pique’s social life. But has helped Shakira amplify her reach in her professional life.
