Alphabet and Google CEO, Sundar Pichai, took to his Twitter to break the sensational news worldwide. The emphatic Argentina Vs France World Cup final prompted it.
“Search recorded its highest ever traffic in 25 years during the final of #FIFAWorldCup, it was like the entire world was searching about one thing,” Tweeted Sundar Pichai. Pichai also mentioned that it was one of the greatest games he had ever witnessed. “Well played, Argentina and France. Jogo Bonito. Nobody deserves it more than #messi, in the greatest ever to play the game. What a swansong,” Pichai said in another tweet to address this particular game.
The World Cup Final witnessed Lionel Messi finally fulfilling his dream of winning the prestigious Golden trophy. The triumph now puts him in the padestal of sporting history among the greatest players ever. Argentina won the thriller world cup final 4-2 on penalties. The Argentine team was 2-0 ahead til the 80th minute. A mind boggling Kylian Mbappe hattrick dragged the game into penalties, where Argentina finally crossed the line.
