The former Barcelona legend Lionel Messi has not acknowledged the fact that his dear friend Gerard Pique from his previous club, has made up his mind to finally hang his boots for the club, and for himself as he made the official statement of his retirement. Soon, the player gathered a plethora of warm wishes and luck.
The former teammate and PSG star haven’t yet taken it to any social media platforms or anywhere in the public eye, about wishing the player a happy retirement and a happy life ahead. Though there’s no hurry in receiving such wishes, and who knows might have done the task personally.
The player announced his sudden retirement amidst rising speculations from his former partner and the tough separation from her that has been surrounded by media trials over the past few months. A sole reason for retirement doesn’t seem to be the case.
The PSG star and Gerard Pique shared a healthy camaraderie both on and off the pitch, be it being laugh buddies, or dinner partners, soon enough the Argentine shall pass on his valuable comments to the retiring defender.

The Barcelona star and Spaniard Gerard Pique, has recently announced his sudden retirement with immediate effect and has played his last game for the club this Sunday. The player had a hard life both on and off the pitch, been hitting the lows in his career in terms of performing up the notch, to the club’s standard.
Having a tough separation from his ex-partner amidst rising speculations about the player being unfaithful, which has led media trials up his doors, and follow the player everywhere, his down-growing relationship with the Barcelona president was also one of the speculated reasons for the troubles of the player that he had been facing lately.
