Following the extension of Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi stated that there would be changes coming to the French capital.

The first significant change is seeing Leonardo exit as sporting director and the arrival of Luis Campos.  The other changes that would be coming are to the squad.

There have been recent reports about the possibility of the Ligue 1 side being open to selling Neymar Jr. this summer but he has denied those reports and has not heard the rumors about him possibly leaving the club.

For my part, I want to stay (at PSG). Nobody told me anything, but on my side, I want to stay,” Neymar Jr. said.

L’Équipe, however, has reported that Paris would be open to selling the Brazilian if the right offer came in, while Kylian Mbappé would also not be against Neymar leaving. The 30-year-old Brazillian signed an extension to his contract last year taking him up to 2025. The departure of Brazillian sporting director Leonardo and his probable replacement by the Portuguese Luis Campos is also seen as possibly weakening Neymar’s position at PSG.

Before the summer of transition, Neymar is said to be surplus to needs at the Parc des Princes. Following his choice to reject Great Madrid and stay at PSG, Kylian Mbappe has been given real influence, and it’s expected that there will be substantial activity at the club this upcoming season

And one such star who may be on his way is Neymar. The Brazilian decided to join PSG in the summer of 2017 – the very same transfer window as Mbappe – but his status has dropped drastically since then.

Injuries have hampered the 30-year-progress, old’s but it’s also true that since leaving Camp Nou for the Parc des Princes five years ago, his career has only gone backward. If he does leave Paris this summer, it’s unclear where he’ll go; based on Laporta’s statements, Barcelona does not appear to be a viable option.
