Inter Milan makes record after beating rival Ac Milan in the first leg of Champions League Semi-Finals.

Inter Milan faced archrivals AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League semifinals for the first time since 2007. Internazionale won the first leg courtesy of two early goals from Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. This was the first time since 1979 when Inter beat got the better of their rivals in three consecutive games.
Inter Milan and Ac Milan’s rivalry is very famous in the Italian League and also amongst many football fans. Inter won in the San Siro in all consecutive three matches. The blue and black scored the opening goal just after eight minutes and the second goal in the 11th minute.
The goals were scored inside the opening quarter by Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. In Serie A also, Inter has defeated its rival opponent twice in the league, and that too by keeping clean sheets all three times.

This has never happened since 1979/80. Internazionale has just been able to defeat the red and black by clean sheets in all matches for just two times till now. In this season Inter has successfully defeated Ac Milan in the first match by 1 goal to nil, and in the second match by 3 goals to nil and in Champions League first leg 2 goals to nil.

This season of Internazionale is been very successful and in the footballing world. Each and everybody knows how Inter ruled the Italian League this season. They were nearly unstoppable in that season.
The manager of the club at that time was the late Eugenio Bersellini and the squad didn’t have any overseas players at that time. All the players including the substitutes were Italian. The team played 30 matches and won 14 matches, draw 13 matches, and just lost three matches.
The club of San Siro had 41 points and won the league by 3 points followed by Juventus (38 points). Inter reached the quarter-finals of Copa Italia and to the Round of 32 of the UEFA Cup. The top goalscorer of the team was Altobelli with a total of 22 goals. In that season the club defeated Ac Milan in all the matches by keeping a clean sheet in all the matches.
