“It’s not the same feeling for Portugal”, Fans react as Bruno Fernandes ignores Cristiano Ronaldo at the Portugal world cup camp
Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes
A short video of Manchester United squad mates Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo conversing in the Portugal camp sparked reactions from football enthusiasts. After the latter’s recent fiery interview, the two players appear to be having an awkward moment, which is caught on camera.
Recently, the latter broadcast excerpts from the Portugal captain’s interview with Piers Morgan, during which the forward unleashed a vicious attack on the team. He expressed his anger with the team and the current manager, Erik ten Hag, in the interview.
The clips were made public on November 13 following United’s final match prior to the World Cup break. The forward didn’t participate in the match, as the Red Devils defeated Fulham 2-1 on November 13.
Ronaldo and Fernandes will now work together to help Portugal win the championship in Qatar. However, a recent video of Fernandes’ apparent disinterest in his national team’s captain has surfaced. On Twitter, fans responded to the awkward exchange that took place in place of Cristiano Ronaldo’s contentious interview.
