Jorge Mendes warns Barcelona of key player’s departure in January if not given adequate game-time: Reports

Ansu Fati is regarded as one of the brightest prospects of world football at the moment and one for the future but the young star will be leaving Barcelona next summer if he doesn’t receive first-team action and sufficient game time confirms his agent Jorge Mendes. Ansu Fati has started only twice in the eleven league matches and has mostly played as a substitute.
He scored in the last league match against Villarreal last week and according to his agent, he is set to leave the Catalan giants in the upcoming summer window and find a new club where he can get more frequent first-team opportunities and build himself as a top player. Despite the warnings, the club is not worried about the situation as the player signed a recent contract last August.
And with a release clause of about £868million, it seems very unlikely that any club is going to match that price. Ansu Fati has been quite impressive despite not playing enough and has contributed three goals and three assists in the 16 appearances he has made across all competitions with Barcelona out of the Champions League, the lack of playtime situation is not going to get worse for the youngster.
Is Barcelona wasting a talent like Ansu Fati?

Ansu Fati is widely regarded as one of the most talented teenage footballers in the world and after Messi left, he was handed over the famous #10 shirt and since then has always lived up to the expectations of the club. But he hasn’t played much since the arrival of Xavi and he has always been overlooked with Xavi bringing in new players to take over his position in the starting eleven.
Barcelona on the other hand has been back to where they left it last season as they got knocked out of the UEFA Champions League year again and now faces a tough test to even get their hands on the Europa League. In LaLiga, they are clearly the second-favorites having lost the El Classico to Real Madrid earlier this month.
