Kyle Walker and Fluminese star get into FURIOUS brawl as Manchester City lift Club World Cup

Manchester City lifted the Club World Cup in style as the Cityzens saw off Fluminese 4-0. However, the celebrations were dampened, even if it was for a moment, by a bust-up between Kyle Walker and Felipe Melo. The situation was quickly dissolved, but only as the cameras picked up a heated tussle between the two defenders.
Manchester City beat Fluminese thanks to goals from Julian Alvarez, Phill Foden, and an own goal from Fluminese captain Nino. City added a fifth trophy to their collection as they now boast a Premier League, an F.A. Cup, a Champions League, a Super Cup, and a Club World Cup. Kyle Walker had the honor of lifting the coveted trophy at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium.
Even though the reason remains unknown, the cameras picked up Kyle Walker and Felipe Melo at it. Push came to shave and it was not too long before either side got into a brawl.
Jack Grealish however, was quick to intervene and separate the two. The brawl then dissolved and Manchester City players continued with their title celebrations.
Manchester City beat Fluminese 4-0 to lift Club World Cup
Manchester City added their 5th trophy to their collection in style. City were at their absolute best against the Brazilian club as Julian Alvarez opened the scoring in the first minute. The Argentine was the first to react after Nathan Ake‘s shot ricocheted off the post. City’s advantage was doubled when a cross from Foden took an unexpected deflection off of Nino and tumbled into goal.
However, City’s third goal of the night did not arrive until late in the second half. Phil Foden finally got on the scoresheet as he got on the end of Julian Alvarez’s cross. Two minutes from full-time, Alvarez completed his brace as he sealed the deal with an excellent strike into the top right corner. The referee signaled for full-time as Manchester City player’s got into the celebrations.
Former Real Madrid players Mateo Kovavic and Marcelo shared a moment on the pitch after the full-time whistle. Both sides showed respect for each other except for the unexpected brawl that broke out between Kyle Walker and Felipe Melo. Walker said that the past year was his best year playing football. He also praised City’s consistency and ability to win multiple tournaments in the past year. City are currently 4th in the Premier League and face F.C. Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League RO16.
