Lionel Messi was able to conquer his ‘final peak’ after he led Argentina to win the World Cup. Things just didn’t come to an end, but what now comes about the death bed wish of Pele. The Brazilian wanted Lionel Messi to win the World Cup after Brazil was eliminated by Croatia.
The wish comes to daylight not directly from the King but from his daughter Kely Nascimento after his death. The Brazilian reportedly shared O Rei’s last wish to Antonela Roccuzzo in The Best Award Show by FIFA. Kely took to Instagram to share the incident.
The former Barcelona star won the Qatar World Cup on 18th December 2022. The king of soccer passed 11 days later on 29th December the same year. Pele wanted the cup to stay in South America, saying “Messi deserves it” as the daughter recalled.
The Lusail’s stadium along with the World witnessed the crowning of the king. The World Cup-winning captain was awarded the Golden Ball award. The 35-year-old scored seven goals and three assists in seven matches for Argentina. It was a dream come true not only to the 35-year-old but a tribute to two legends Diego Maradona and Pele.

Saint, the son of the model, was joined by his friends in the stadium during the match. The nine-year-old wanted to get the attention of the Argentine by waving to him before the match. The PSG forward quickly noticed his young fan and waved him back.
The American model posted the incident in her Twitter post. “When Leo Messi says hi back”. Although PSG lost the game by two goals, the nine-year-old achieved many dreams to happen once in their lifetime.
Lionel Messi was not the only star Saint met on that day. After the game they also came in contact with Kylian Mbappe and had a video call with Neymar Jr. For now there are rumours Lionel Messi will join Barcelona in the coming season. Gossips keep on continuing as Lionel Messi still tops the table to win his eighth Ballon d’Or.
Kim Kardashian was spotted in Arsenal’s home ground the week next. On the other hand, Gerard Romero confirmed Lionel Messi arriving in Barcelona with 17 luggage bags with him, giving hopes of something cooking in the near future.
