Manchester United removes Cristiano Ronaldo from their ‘LEGENDS’ list after controversial interview with Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan slams Manchester United for removing Cristiano Ronaldo’s mural from Old Trafford

Piers Morgan has called Manchester United “petty” for removing a huge mural of Cristiano Ronaldo from Old Trafford. Right over the entrance to Old Trafford, a massive mural of Ronaldo wearing a United jersey was displayed at the start of the season. However, after watching video of United removing the artwork from Old Trafford, Ronaldo’s interviewer Piers Morgan tweeted: “Wow.. how petty.”

However not everything was as it appeared, and the banner’s removal was just a coincidence. The Rugby League World Cup finals for men and women are scheduled to take place at Old Trafford on Saturday and in place of the enormous mural, branding will now be there before that championship game.
