Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals for Al-Nassr during their Saudi Pro League against Al-Wehda. Ronaldo scored his first goal for Al- Nassr early in the 19th minute, which was his 500th career league goal. He doubled his tally moments before halftime and completed his hat trick with a penalty in the second half. He added his fourth and final goal of the game later in the second half, with a rebound, after his initial attempt was saved by the keeper.
Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 38th birthday on Sunday. He has now scored 503 career league goals for five different clubs, in five different leagues. Ronaldo bagged 103 goals for Manchester United, 311 for Real Madrid, 81 for Juventus, 3 for Sporting and currently has 5 for Al- Nassr.
After the match, fans were quick to compare the 5 times Balon d’Or winner with Lionel Messi. Fans stated the fact that Ronaldo now has more goals in 2023 against Messi, who currently has 3 goals in 6 games for French Giants Paris Saint Germain. Ronaldo shut down his haters with his latest performance after many claimed the ex-Real Madrid forward was ‘finished’ after he signed for 200 million euros with the Saudi Arabian side.

Fans all over the internet shared their reaction to Cristiano Ronaldo’s four-goal haul in Al- Nassr’s last match. Al- Nassr, who is leading the Saudi Pro League on goal difference, defeated Al- Wehda 4-0. All four goals were scored by the 38-year-old Portuguese. Ronaldo also completed yet another milestone of 500 career league goals as Al- Nassr cruised past in a comfortable victory.
“Goat, nothing else to say,” a tweet read, as fans heated up the internet in the GOAT debate yet again. Other fans claimed Cristiano Ronaldo was ‘better’ than his fellow rival Lionel Messi. “Ronaldo has more goals than Messi in 2023 btw but they won’t say anything about it,” another tweet read.
Other fans celebrated Ronaldo’s goal-scoring ability, stating he had more goals with his ‘weaker’ foot than some players’ entire careers. “Cristiano Ronaldo now has scored 152 goals with his weak foot. That’s more than some people career goals.” Al- Nassr play fifth positioned Al-Taawoun in their next league match on February 17. The league leaders will look to increase their lead by 3 points. They are currently level with second-placed Al- Shabab on 37 points.
