Liverpool FC winger Mohamed Salah’s house in Cairo, Egypt was burgled on Saturday, reports reveal. The thieves reportedly stole some satellite receivers and left the villa located in the Fifth Settlement area of Cairo in a mess.
The incident was originally reported by Salah’s nephew who was passing by the villa. Egyptian authorities have since taken over and are currently investigating the intrusion. In an effort to find the offenders, security workers are being questioned and CCTV footage is being examined.

Mohamed Salah misses penalty as Bournemouth shock Liverpool
Bournemouth shocked Liverpool 1-0 at home as they moved out of the relegation zone. The loss meant Liverpool missed their chance to move into the top 4 as they stray further away from fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
A solitary Philip Billing goal in the 29th minute was enough for Bournemouth to hold on to the win. However, their hopes for a win were almost dented when Liverpool was awarded a penalty in the second half for a handball. But much to their delight, Mo Salah sent his penalty wide of the post.
Liverpool now travels to Madrid for a crucial UCL Round of 16 ties against Real Madrid as they trail 2-5 coming into the second leg. As for Bournemouth, they play Aston Villa away next Saturday.
A look at Mohamed Salah’s 2022-23 season stats so far
Mohamed Salah has had a below-par season so far when compared to his usually elevated standards. The Egyptian has 11 goals and 7 assists in 26 games in the Premier League this season.
However, in the Champions League, Mo Salah is currently the leading goal scorer as he has 8 goals in 7 games this campaign. However, Liverpool stares at a premature exit from the competition losing 2-5 in the first leg of the Round of 16 to Real Madrid at home.
This is far from Salah’s best season. But the Egyptian still remains vital in Jurgen Klopp’s plan as Liverpool gear up for the final leg of the season hoping to crack the top 4 for automatic Champions League qualification for next season. Apart from this, he also became the highest goal scorer for Liverpool in the Premier League with 129 goals beating the previous record held by Robbie Fowler.
