Neymar publicly apologized to her pregnant girlfriend Bruna Biancardi for cheating on her on Wednesday. The PSG forward took to social media to admit his infidelity in his final attempt to save his relationship.

The post has already garnered ten million likes in a matter of hours. Many players expressed their support for the former FC Barcelona forward. Neymar announced that he is expecting a child with his girlfriend back in April.

The forward and the social media influencer, Bruna Biancardi, started dating in 2021 but didn’t make it public until January 2022. The couple announced that they were expecting a child in April this year. This will be Neymar’s second born after Davvi Luca who was born in 2011 with Carolina Dantas.

The couple were spending time together in Rio de Janeiro in June. According to sources, the Brazil national team icon hooked up with another woman in his mansion after his girlfriend went to sleep. The influencer was unaware of this incident until news broke out on social media. She packed his things and left the mansion.

 Neymar stated in the apology, “I do this for both of you and your family. Justifying the unjust. It was not needed. but I need you in OUR life. “I saw how much you were exposed, how much you suffered through all of this, and how much you want to be by my side. And me right beside you. I risk saying I fail everyday, on and off the field. Only I solve my mistakes in my personal life at home, in my intimacy with my family and friends.”

He further continued and wrote, “All of this hit one of the most special people in my life. The woman I dreamed of walking next to me, mother of my child. It has hit her family. “I can’t imagine myself without you. I don’t know if we’re going to work out, but today you sure do want to try. Our purpose will prevail, our love for our baby will win, our love for each other will strengthen us. I love you.”

While some people were defending the PSG forward, others were not so happy. Many believed that this was a half-baked attempt by the player to save his relationship and have said that Biancardi deserves better. Many even joked that the letter was probably not even written by him.
