Piers Morgan slams Gary Neville over his verdict on the winner's of the Premier League.
Piers Morgan and Gary Neville
British broadcaster and Journalist Piers Morgan has challenged renowned football pundit Gary Neville to place a bet on who they think will be the Premier League winners. Piers Morgan tweeted today that he is willing to put £5000 on Arsenal winning the league this season.
The journalist was fuming after listening to Gary Neville’s statements on Arsenal not winning the league. When asked about his predictions, Neville told his favorite to win the league was still Manchester City. He also said that Manchester United would most likely secure the second position.
Piers Morgan could not hold back his anger after an outrageous opinion and took matters into his own hands. He tweeted; “Pipe down T-Bag. I bet you £5000 to charity that Arsenal finishes higher in the League than Utd.” Morgan was offended by Neville’s statements as he seemingly dismissed Arsenal’s progress this season.
It is not the first time Piers Morgan has gotten into an altercation with a football pundit. His extreme opinions about the game often attract criticism which leads to him being trolled. Although, this time he might be right about his verdict on the Premier League champions. Let us know why!

Why Piers Morgan is so confident about Arsenal winning Premier League this season?
Often surrounded with controversy, famous British journalist and sports enthusiast Piers Morgan has once again started an argument with a football pundit. Although, he might actually be talking out of his brain this time as he believes Arsenal is the leading contender to win the league title.
The Gunners sit at the top of the Premier League table with an advantage of over eight points. They will run away with the title if Mikel Arteta’s team continues to perform this way. The North London club is having a sensational domestic run. They have played eighteen games, winning 47 points.
Arsenal is on its way to lifting the first Premier League trophy for the first time in over two decades. They won the title in 2002/03 the last time as they finished unbeaten in the league. Do you think Mikel Arteta’s side can repeat history by winning the PL title with such a young squad?
