Antonio Rüdiger found it really ‘cool’ after he understood what ‘p*ta Madre’ in Spanish culture means. The former Chelsea defender initially took the word in its own natural meaning. The Los Blancos defender thinks that his teammates use the word to abuse his mother. He now knows , it means ‘damn cool’.

Antonio Rüdiger joined the La Liga giants in the last transfer window. The player joined the Spanish side from Chelsea. He was valued at €59m. Real Madrid made a successful signing of the German player. 

Like many other players in Spain, Rüdiger also faced a language barrier in the early days. He took ‘p*ta Madre’ as a serious slang. During his initial days in Madrid, he was even a victim of racism by opposition fans. The former Chelsea defender is now well-accepted by its own fans. The 30-year-old defender now finds how amusing the fact that ‘de p*ta Madre’ is used to explain something wonderful.

The player made some brilliant stops in the Spanish side’s Champions League game against his former Premier League club- Chelsea. Rüdiger made sure not to let the Stamford Bridge side not register a single goal. This led Real Madrid to keep a formidable lead against their opponent.
