Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha is running out of contract with the Premier League club in the coming months. After making over 450 appearances for the club, Zaha has decided to depart his boyhood club and is linked with Cristiano Ronaldo‘s new team Al Nassr. Crystal Palace is desperately trying to tie down the striker by offering him a contract extension. However, the 30-year-old has turned down multiple offers from the club.

As per reports from the Mirror, Wilfried Zaha is leaving the Premier League side after they rejected Zaha’s appeal of earning more than $130,000 weekly wage. The African footballer is set to move to the middle east in search of a better life. Zaha is the first footballer to follow in Cristiano Ronaldo‘s footsteps by joining Saudi Pro League leaders Al Nassr.

Al Nassr is reportedly paying Cristiano Ronaldo over $77 million yearly wage. Signing Wilfried Zaha would only add another world-class player to their wage list. Though, money is no issue for the Saudi Pro League as most ‘big-profile’ signings are funded by the state. Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival in Saudi Arabia has glorified the country’s football culture while giving recognition to the players alongside him.

Despite showing interest in the Asian club, Zaha also awaits offers from a few Serie-A teams. According to reports, AC Milan is interested in signing the footballer on a free deal. He had also been contacted by two other clubs from Saudi Arabia, which are Al-Hilal, and Al-Ittihad. Given Wilfried Zaha’s quality, he deserves more playing time in Europe’s top-five leagues.
