Shakira has decided to move to Miami with her children following her split with Gerard Pique. The content of the last call between the former football player and the artist has been revealed which revealed that in two days she would definitely move to the United States with Sasha and Milan following her custodial agreement with him.
Gerard Pique was reportedly very annoyed after being given days’ notice by ex-Shakira that she is moving to Miami this week with their two children so they can start school there on April 11. “He is very annoyed because he has been told with very little time. He disagrees with the children not finishing the school year in Barcelona,” as per reports.
The Barcelona-based journalists had identified April 1 as the date Shakira would leave Spain with her children after suspending earlier plans to travel at the start of the year because of the poor health of her 91-year-old dad William Mubarak. That was before her mum Nidia Ripoll was hospitalized in the Catalan capital after a blood clot was found in her leg. He needs to receive treatment that they cannot offer him in Barcelona.
“I settled in Barcelona to give my children stability, the same that we are now looking for in another corner of the world by side of family, friends and the sea”, she announced before leaving Spain. The artist, who has relatives and several close friends in Miami, owns a £14 million mansion in the city she is said to have put up for sale in 2018 before removing it from the market a few months ago. Late last month Spanish media claimed Shakira may have found love with a new man in Miami.

Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero has taken a sly dig at his former Barcelona teammate Gerard Pique while analyzing the Spaniard’s celebrations dedicated to Shakira. Putting an end to their 11-year-long relationship, Gerard Pique and Shakira parted ways in June 2022. The star has since released a record-breaking diss track aimed at Pique and his new girlfriend Clara Chia, and left Barcelona with her two boys Milan and Sasha.
The pair’s split has become one of the most talked-about breakups in football history. Formerly a fearsome striker, Aguero has garnered fanfare as a Twitch streamer. During one of his recent streaming sessions with fellow streamer Ibai Llanos, Aguero decided to review Gerard Pique’s best moments, specifically goal celebrations. It appeared that the 2010 World Cup winner dedicated each of the goals to his former partner, with the mysterious gesture “22”.
Aguero said, “22? Two of 22? It’s for Shakira, right?”. The former Atletico Madrid striker was not entirely convinced and claimed that Pique’s gesture might have had a hidden meaning. Aguero joked: “How many kids does she have? Two. Maybe they met a 2… Or it could be because of two girls and two women. You never know.” Although Llanoz co-owns the King’s League with Pique, he could not suppress his amusement and burst out laughing after Aguero’s analysis.
