Senegal national football team has finally revealed their 26-member squad that will take the flight to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup and Aliou Cissé has pleased all the fans with his decisions and selections. Senegal talisman Sadio Mane who got injured a few days ago during a club match was set to miss the tournament but now with his name in the squad, things are looking good for the Senegalese fans.
The squad is filled with experienced players with Edouard Mendy expected to be the man between the sticks and the defense is also star-studded with players such as Kalidou Koulibaly, Abdou Diallo, and Youssouf Sabaly. Aliou Cissé will look to use their usual style which is to play from the back considering the agility they have in their backline.
And with players such as Ismaila Sarr and Diedhiou, there will be no shortages of attack and the fans will hope that their star, Sadio Mane recovers just in time for the opening game and help the team to progress onto the next round. Senegal is paired in a pretty easy group alongside Netherlands, Qatar, and Ecuador and will be hoping to make it to the round of 16 having missed it on the previous occasion.
