Clara Chia Marti was given a nickname by Shakira when Gerard Pique hired her to work as an intern at his company, Kosmos. Pique, Clara Chia, and Shakira have recently been in the limelight following the chaotic split between the former Barcelona Captain and the Popstar. Shakira and Gerard Pique separated in June 2022, but they continued to criticize one another afterward.

Spanish Roberto Antolin revealed in the latest interview that Shakira had a nickname for Chia which she gave to her before all the drama was unveiled. Shakira Little dead fly, which means unimpeachable in Spanish. “It was a total surprise. That’s why it hurt her so much because she already knew her, and she called her ‘little dead fly,’” stated the journalist. “Clara Chia was a person who went unnoticed. Shakira never saw her as a danger because she is not a stunning woman; she is a rather normal girl,” she added.

The Colombian never saw the then 21-yers intern as a danger to her relationship with Pique. The journalist added, “Shakira never saw her as a danger, because she is not a stunning woman, she is a rather normal girl. She behaved very well with Shakira. She was a ‘dead fly’: she spoke little, she was tremendously educated, she was an intern, they made little noise,”.

After 12 years of marriage and two children, Shakira and Pique called it quits in June 2022. Following the catastrophe, Shakira relocated from Barcelona to Miami, and Pique began residing with her new girlfriend, Clara Chia.

Pique and Shakira have been engaged in various legal disputes. According to Pique’s lawyer, Ramon Tamborero, the court struggle lasted months, and the most recent session lasted 13 hours. During this, Shakira released a new single with Argentine DJ Bizzarap. This drew a lot of media attention. Pique is now permitted to see his children 10 days per month. She intends to leave Barcelona and move to Miami with her kids.

Pique’s parents are also considering moving since they are tired of Shakira’s parties and are her neighbors. Shakira is now working on releasing an album, and her most recent song with Karol G, which was postponed, will be released at the end of February.
