Shakira reveals shocking details about split from Gerard Pique, says she got to know about the break up from the ‘press’ when her father was in ICU

Gerard Piuque’s former partner Shakira opened up about how she had to face traumas on all fronts when she came to know about Pique’s infidelity with Clara Chia Marti. The Colombian said that she was in the ICU with her sick father when the news broke. Shakira, after the split, left Barcelona and moved to Miami to start fresh with her kids Sasha and Milan.
Shakira recently talked about how trauma and heartbreak engulfed her during her split with Pique. She said, “Everything came together, my home was falling apart. I found out from the press that I had been betrayed while my dad was in the ICU. I thought I wouldn’t survive that long. The man I have loved most in my life, my father, left me when I needed him most, but I could not talk to him or receive the advice of my best friend that I would have needed so much.”
Shakira then gave a vivid description of her father’s current condition. She said, “He has overcome COVID, two accidents, pneumonia, and five surgeries. All this at 91 years old and in less than six months. My dad is the greatest example of resilience, and my mother is by his side day and night accompanying him.”
Ever since her breakup with Pique, Shakira has been linked with quite a few well-known figures. The likes of Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton are a few names. Although, it is the latter that has been seen with Shakira a number of times. The recent spotting was at a restaurant in Barcelona after the Spanish Grand Prix. Hamilton came second in the race and was seen spending time with Shakira and his friends.
Shakira sparked rumors with her presence at the stands of the Spanish GP. Although she came to Barcelona to drop off her kids at their father’s for their vacation. But many have suggested that Shakira hit two birds with a stone.

Clara Chia Marti and Gerard Pique made waves after they were spotted during the wedding of the soccer player’s brother, Marc Piqué, and his now-wife Maria Valls. Despite being trailed by the paparazzi following the wedding, the famous couple rejoiced among his family at Sant Vicenç de Montalt in Barcelona. They were seen going hand in hand and keeping a low profile.
While many netizens questioned Clara Chia‘s dress when images of the event were published, believing it was an opportunity to present a more elevated style. But it appears she preferred a basic yet classy design by none other than Victoria Beckham. The textured column cami dress was excellent for a summer outing, with spaghetti straps and a V-neckline.
Clara Cha accessorized the backless dress, which retails for roughly $1,000, with a soft glam makeup look, little jewelry, shoes, and her long blonde hair pulled back. This appeared to be their first public appearance as a couple at a family reunion. About 300 people were in attendance at the house of Piqué’s parents, Montserrat Bernabeu and Joan Piqué Rovira, in Llavaneras.
