SHOCKING: FC Barcelona’s all 4 captains including Gerard Pique to leave next summer: Reports

All four captain after being honored with the captaincy duties.
FC Barcelona has been in the news recently for their back-to-back low performance in both the UEFA Champions League and LaLiga. The Catalan club is close to facing an exit at the group stage of the UCL for the second season in a row after a disappointing 3-3 draw against Inter Milan. Things went from bad to worse when they lost the EL Classico to bitter rivals Real Madrid in just three days’ time.
Reports from the Daily Mail suggest that FC Barcelona are looking for options to offload their four captains, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Sergi Roberto next summer. The four players have been with the club for a long amount of time and have literally won it all with the club and yet the board feels that their time is up at the club and needs to be replaced.
FC Barcelona is currently second in LaLiga and their hopes of making it to the knockout stages of the Champions League lies in the hands of Viktoria Plzen who play Inter Milan next Wednesday. They also face a tough test against Bayern Munich when they welcome the German Champions at Camp Nou, having lost the last five matches against the club and hope to turn the tide this time.
Xavi Hernandez faces a tough test ahead as the club looks to offload his ex-teammates.

All four players have been with the club for a while now with Gerard Pique playing for them since 2008 making about 613 appearances and scoring 53 goals and providing 15 assists. But it won’t be wrong to say that Pique is way past his prime and needs to make way for some other players and has also found it hard to get game time under Xavi Hernandez this season.
Sergio Busquets, on the other hand, has made 691 appearances having joined the club way back in 2008, scoring 18 goals and providing 43 assists. Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto have also been at the club for a long time and have come up right from the academy and its high time that they should make way for some youngsters and also help the club settle the wage bills as they cost the club huge paychecks.
