Toni Kroos and his brother Felix Kroos have a reputation for not holding anything back about the current affairs of football. The Kroos brothers strongly criticized the awards and its choice of winners. Toni Kroos‘ brother, Felix, who is now retired, spoke on ‘Einfach mal Luppen,‘ their German podcast about the ceremony, calling it a ‘joke.’

While the Real Madrid midfielder spoke with caution about his thoughts on the ceremony. The former Werder Bremen player Felix Kroos attacked the FIFA ceremony strongly, criticizing Argentina’s dominance in winning the awards. “It was a joke for me that the Argentina keeper was also the best goalkeeper, nobody knew him before the World Cup and he only got the award for the World Cup.”

Toni Kroos also explained the reason behind Real Madrid’s absence during the FIFA Ceremony, “that’s why you couldn’t see Real Madrid anywhere at the gala. I also boycotted it. I didn’t get any awards.” Kroos went on about the controversial FIFA Best Player award, “In a year like this, after the World Cup, that tournament is always an important point when it comes to awards. Lionel Messi was the outstanding player there. So it was no surprise.”

Apple TV+ announced the release date for a new football documentary based on Real Madrid’s recent success. The series, which is called,  “Real Madrid: Until The End,” is based on Real Madrid’s iconic and unforgettable journey to win their 14th UEFA Champions League. It is set to release globally on March 10 2023 exclusively on Apple TV+.

The iconic series will have a total of three episodes and feature some of Los Blancos’ most popular stars, including Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. The sports documentary is introduced by former Real Madrid midfielder, and the owner of MLS side Inter Miami FC David Beckham. “The path to a 14th title has never been steeper,” Beckham narrates in the official trailer.

“Many doubted it but not this coach, not these players and definitely not these fans. This is no ordinary club. This is Real Madrid.” He continues in the trailer. The series is Apple TV’s third sports documentary, after the release of ‘Ted Lasso,’ and ‘Super League: the War for Football.’ Fans have high expectations from the documentary after the success of it’s previous two series.
