“He doesn’t like the idea of me taking away attention from family,” Wanda Nara reveals reason for split with Mauro Icardi
Mauro Icardi's wife reveals reason behind their split
Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara have very much reconciled after filing for divorce. Known for being one of the most controversial couples in football, the Argentine model revealed her decision to split. Even though the rumors are that Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi’s marriage ended because of his sporadic relationship with Argentinian actress China Suarez, this is not the case.
It was a bizarre reason for the striker not allowing Wanda to go to work. “The truth is that I had five children, I breastfed them all, I raised them and I dedicated myself to them for 10 years. I had recently expressed to Mauro the desire to go back to work, and he didn’t like it. In Argentina, they keep offering me programs to host and I really like television. This does not mean neglecting the children: Mauro trains two hours a day and the rest of the time he is at home. He can help me, can’t he? Instead, he doesn’t like the idea of me taking away attention from the family”: Wanda explained.
Wanda was therefore unable to forgive her husband for the imposed work limitation and control over his professional life. It is known that work allows independence and in fact, Wanda is aware of this, which is why she did not agree to save her marriage characterized by this negative thought of Icardi. “Mauro lives in the football world, where wives rarely work and career women are discriminated against”.
The couple is now very much together and were also seen together at their close friend Lizy Tagliani’s wedding. The two were reportedly very caring and loving of each other at the event where both were seen dancing together.

Mauro Icardi linked with a move after loan deal expires
Roma is being linked with Argentine striker Mauro Icardi who is currently playing on loan at Galatasaray from PSG. The ex-Inter captain is unlikely to sign a permanent deal with the Turkish giants and seems eager to return to Serie A. According to sources, Icardi is waiting for Italian clubs to advance offers in order to make a decision by the end of the season.
PSG is unlikely to keep the striker after his disastrous season and multiple options already within the club and would look into cashing in for the player. His incredible stint at PSG came to an end after issues on and off the pitch.
Roma has reportedly shown interest in him, along with Milan who had inquired about him last summer. After a poor stint at PSG, the former Inter striker chose to move to Turkey to try and get back in form and he has succeeded, scoring 9 goals and adding 6 assists in 14 league games thus far. The Istanbul club has already made it known they are willing to pay €15m to sign him permanently.
