Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo has yet again been on the news for the wrong reasons, having ignored long-time friend and ex-teammate Gary Neville after the latter talked about his a few days ago. Erik Ten Hag hasn’t given Ronaldo a lot of games this season to which Ronaldo reacted by leaving the pitch early in the Tottenham match.

Gary Neville criticized Ronaldo for his actions and bashed the star player for his unprofessionalism. The club is currently dealing with a lot of problems and every new week, they are on the news with a new headline. Ronaldo hasn’t reached the heights he is known for this season and no doubt is frustrated with the decisions of the new manager and only time will tell if he is going to stay until the end of the season.

Last week, Gary Neville wasn’t happy with the result of his club against Chelsea and also got into a heated conversation with Roy Keane regarding the behavior and sportsmanship of the Portuguese forward. And this weekend, while coming out to warm up for the game against West Ham United, he gave handshakes and hugs to former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp and ex-Red Devil Louis Saha ignoring Neville.

How the Sky Sports pundits reacted to this gesture from Ronaldo?

Cristiano Ronaldo had quite a nice relationship with Neville but after the incidents in recent weeks, we can say that the cold war has finally begun. Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher posted on Twitter in order to pull the leg of his Sky Sports mate. Neville replied by saying, “We’re off the Christmas card list.”

Neville was referring to the situation that Carragher faced quite a few weeks ago when Ronaldo did the same thing to him back in August when Ronaldo greeted both Roy Keane and Neville before United’s match against Liverpool but ignored Jamie Carragher and paid no attention to him as he talked about him quite a few weeks prior to that game.
