Right before the start of the last two games before the finals in the 2022 FIFA World Cup edition between Argentina and Croatia, Argentines spotted a huge Lionel Messi Jersey being flown in the skies of their nation tied to an airplane. Some concluded that Jersey was making everyone remember that today is the match that will lead them to finals yet again after the disappointment in 2014. While this was not enough the effect went all the way over a bar in Munich, Germany where fans are hailing Messi’s name as they walk past Croatia.
The Argentines were overwhelmed seeing their favorite star’s jersey fly over Rosario’s skies. Everybody could look and feel that the little magician will again work his magic over the Croatians to take his nation forward into the finals. People cheered with passion as they saw Jersey. Some even say it might be too early for this grand gesture, as it’s still for the finals, not the win.
Argentina, who stepped onto the grand stage with the burden of hopes of millions of Argentines as favorites, started off with a humiliating defeat from Saudi Arabia. But later, as they picked up momentum and confidence, they are now the first to cement their place in the final of the big event. Lionel Messi, whose trophy cabinet is missing the only trophy to complete the fairy tale and end the GOAT debate.
The flying jersey is however considered a token of respect for the little magician who’s yet again in the final of the grand stage and is looking forward to grabbing the trophy which once got slipped from his hands by a little margin. To redeem the only disappointment in his career and lead his country to glory, the player will step in his potential last World Cup and God willing shall win it as well.

The South American lions beat the 2018 runner-up to advance to their sixth final. They will face either France or Morocco on Sunday. A victory would be the crowning achievement for the star Lionel Messi marking a perfect career. He is probably playing in his final World Cup. Messi’s penalty kick late in the first half opened the score against Croatia, and later the heat was turned up by the young Julian Alvarez.
Alvarez, on a breakthrough run that spanned three-quarters of the pitch, was more than enough for Argentina to seal the victory in its 3-0 win over overwhelmed Croatia in Tuesday’s World Cup semifinal in Lusail, Qatar. Argentina advanced to the World Cup final for the second time in eight years and will fight for their dream that was once shattered by Germany in 2014.
