Real Madrid ace Vinicius Jr once again faced racist comments from fans during Real Madrid’s match against Girona yesterday. This wasn’t the first time Vini Jr. faced comments from fans, as he has complained to higher officials of the league about the kind of racial slurs he has to face day in and day out during matches.

On Tuesday, during Real Madrid’s match against Girona, fans were reportedly calling Vini Jr. “MONO“. Mono in Spanish means Monkey. This hasn’t gone well with the player who has reportedly requested La Liga to take some action against such behaviors.

Real Madrid too stood behind their player Vini Jr. and said that they don’t support any kind of racist behavior. It is to be seen if after so many of these situations taking place, will La Liga finally take some strict actions.

The Brazilian winger has been a constant receiver of similar chants wherever he plays. Even Atletico Madrid fans surfed the wave to go to extraordinary lengths to humiliate the star forward.

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has reportedly spoken on behalf of Real Madrid fans to send a message of encouragement to his compatriot and future teammate Endrick Filipe. Endrick signed a pre-contract agreement with the club in December

Endrick is considered one of the best young talents in Brazil. He will join Real Madrid in 2024 when he turns 18. He has already been compared to Ronaldo and Neymar.

Vinicius also joined Real Madrid from Brazil when he was 18. He said he was happy that Endrick chose the same path as him. Vini praised his quality and potential. In an interview while talking about Endrick, Vini Jr. said, “Ah, yes. I saw him in the Paulista Championship and have great affection for him. I am always supporting and encouraging him. And I am very happy for his title and for the goal he scored in the final.”

Vini Jr also said that he spoke on behalf of Real Madrid fans who are eager to see Endrick wearing the white shirt. He said, “I also told him that the people here are already waiting for him. They are very passionate and they love football. They will support him and make him feel at home. He will be very happy here“.
