RCD Mallorca paid a grand tribute to one of their own Samuel E’to yesterday before their match against FC Barcelona in the La Liga. The Spanish club had E’to as their guest of honour and was invited to attend to open a mural in homage to his contributions to the club.

The mural was opened just when the lineups were announced and E’to stepped onto the pitch as well just moments before the match. The 40 year old was greeted by both sets of fans as E’to is a legend for RCD Mallorca as well as FC Barcelona.

Samuel E’to took to Twitter after attending his mural and said,” What an honour to have my career at RCD Mallorca memorialised like this. Real Mallorca put me on the map in the early days of my international career and it is still one of my favourite clubs I ever played for. Vamos, equipo!”
