Alpine Formula1 Team has recently confirmed the launch date of their car for the 2022 Formula1 season. The French team is on a high ever since their strong 2021 season. Given the package, they had for 2021 the season overall was a strong one for the newly formed Alpine F1 team.
The French team has shared their launch date with the world through their social media channels and as per their Twitter account, the date set for the launch is 21.02.2022. They have now become the sixth team on the grid to confirm their launch date for their A522 car.
The Formula1 2022 season is shaping nicely as the various teams have started coming out with their launch dates and more interestingly, the French team has set their launch date just two days before the start of the first testing of 2022.
Alpine looking to fight at the front end during 2022
The French Formula1 team had a strong end to their 2021 season after facing a few hiccups at the start of the season. As the 2021 season progressed the Alpine duo of Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon became more and more comfortable in their cars and as a result of that put in some strong performances for the team.
The Alpine team saw their first victory in Formula1 courtesy of their young star Esteban Ocon and on the other hand, Fernando also got on the podium for the team in Qatar. The team was engaged in an enthralling battle for fifth in constructors with AlphaTauri and by the end of the season were able to secure fifth place.
The 2021 season of the team was considered a strong season by most of the pundits and with the 2022 season just around the corner, the Alpine team is doing their best in order to come up with a car that would be able to challenge for podiums on a regular basis during 2022.
The Alpine team has got all the resources and with the new regulations coming into effect, the 2022 season could prove to be Alpine’s best chance to show their mettle to the world. It is going to be interesting to see how well they are able to perform during the 2022 season of Formula1.
