Formula 1: Charles Leclerc Delivers Some Words of Wisdom to George Russell Ahead of Mercedes Switch

George Russell has been one of the most impressive drivers in the 2021 Formula 1 season. After battling his way to impress the management and authorities at the Brackley-based team, the young Brit driver finally has got a reqard for his three-year hardwork as now he ahs secured a seat at Mercedes. Having to replace Valtteri Bottas, Charles Leclerc had some words of wisdom for his companion.
To those who are not aware, even the Monegasque driver spent a year at Sauber before switching to Ferrari where he was up against the former four-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel. Not only did Leclerc left an impression of himself, but managed to beat Vettel in both seasons as a teammate.

Speaking from his experience, Leclerc offered Russell some words of wisdom regarding a move to a big team.
“To George, I don’t have much to say,” said Leclerc, as quoted by f1.com.

“He knows what he needs to do. It’s an amazing opportunity for him and he’s in a very good position too, because being like I was with Seb at the end, I had a multi-world champion next to me and, of course for us being young, it’s a great opportunity to show what you can do and learn from the best.”
The Monegasque driver concluded, “So yes: just to enjoy his time there and not put too much pressure on himself.”
