Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time World Champion always makes the headline for his amazing performance and extraordinary skills. He is one of the best drivers on the grid who is not only known for his record breaking 103 race wins, each ending on a high note but is also known for his contribution in social causes and being vocal about the wrong doings in a social setting.
The 37-year-old British driver made headlines, yet again towards the end of 2021 F1 season. With a dramatic and controversial end to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Fans, Pundits, spectators and other team principals had a lot to say in this matter.
Max Verstappen, the 24-year-old Belgian-Dutch driver sealed his maiden F1 title in the 2021 F1 season and became one the youngest drivers on the grid to win a World Championship. Red bull’s first driver, Max was blessed by the racing gods towards the end of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with a safety car incident in the 53rd lap which allowed the Dutchman to beat is contending rival and race leader, Lewis Hamilton in the final lap of the final race of the season.
Fans around the World gleamed with joy seeing the young Dutchman achieve a title in such a young age while many moaned for the loss of Lewis Hamilton. It was one of the important wins as he gave is all in not only the last race of the season but also providing insane results in other races.
The fact that Lewis could beat Michael Schumacher’s record in not only most race wins but also in World Championship title, being the first coloured person would have been a huge step towards success in his life and would have helped encourage many to follow the sport. Even though Lewis has always been an inspiration to millions around the World.
Lewis Hamilton makes social media comeback
On 5th February, 2022, Lewis finally comes back online by posting a picture of him posing in a Grand Canyon. Fans around the world went crazy and the following picture did not only get lakhs of likes on Instagram within minutes but it was also retweeted by many on twitter.
After that day, Lewis Hamilton posts photos of him having fun with kids and in New York, on a yatch and a picture with his mother, captioning “What I’ve been up to since I’ve been away”.
Just 2 hours before, Lewis posted a series of pictures where he is seen hanging out with his friends, playing monopoly and trying out water adventure sports with a part two of the same caption.
Fans around the World are relived and excited to see the big smile on Lewis’ face which went missing since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
