The 2022 Formula1 season is just around the corner and the FIA has recently given a new ruling regarding the reprimands it would take to get a 10 place grid penalty. Lewis Hamilton is not going to like the new ruling as it favors the aggressive driving style of the new Formula1 world champion Max Verstappen.

It has been stated in the Express that for the 2022 Formula1 season the number of reprimands required to get a grid penalty has been changed from the previous three to five and it is believed that the new ruling has come in the wake that none of the drivers got more than two reprimands during the whole 22 races of last season.

Max Verstappen is known for his aggressive driving style and now with the reprimands being increased from three to five, it will give Max Verstappen more freedom to attack Lewis during the 2022 season, and having won the 2021 world title there certainly will be a spring in the steps of Max Verstappen which Lewis Hamilton is not going to like.

Lewis Hamilton’s Formula1 future is still uncertain

While the new ruling has come through, there are still doubts over the future of Lewis Hamilton in Formula1. The FIA is conducting a thorough investigation into the events of the last season’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and it is the mass belief that Lewis Hamilton will make a decision after hearing about the findings of the investigation from the FIA.
