Max Verstappen the 2021 Formula1 world champion has over the years been accused of being a spoiled brat and recently a Lewis Hamilton fan has highlighted a comment as per which it seems the Dutchman doesn’t have much respect for anyone but himself.
A Lewis Hamilton fan named Kaley via a TWEET has recently highlighted a previous comment of Max Verstappen on Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes. “If someone does well, then it’s: ‘oh no, we are definitely not the favorite.’ A week later when things go well, then it’s: oh no we turned it around in a week. Not normal, unbelievable work. Thanks to all people in the factory“
The comment by Max Verstappen on Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes has not sat well with the Lewis Hamilton fans and most of them have labeled the young Dutchman as a person who is way over in his head and doesn’t respect the people that deserve nothing but respect.
Ever since Max Verstappen’s arrival in Formula1, he has said many controversial things and is seen by many people as a bloke who speaks his mind without worrying too much about the consequences.
This is a trait that is not liked by many people and they are of the opinion that Max should work to tone it down a bit. The person that recently posted the comment believes that it must be a horrible experience working with Max day in and day out.
Former Red Bull employee coming forward to clear the air about Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen has been deemed by Lewis Hamilton fans as a reckless person and ever since last season’s controversial Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the banter between Max and Lewis fans has turned ugly and now the fans just don’t let anything slide without coming to the attention of people.
However, one of the former employees of RedBull has come to the fray of Max Verstappen and has indicated that Max is one of the nicest people that one could come across. While replying to the Hamilton fan, the former employee wrote “Worked at RedBull for 6 years, he was one of nicest and down to earth people you could meet. Was just as interested in your day and family as you would be in his.”
If we go by what the employee has said about Max it is fair to say that Max is a kind person who cares about the people that he works with, but the thing is the rivalry that Lewis and Max share on the track has led to the two sets of fans doing almost anything in order to bring the other down.
Moreover, this is only going to continue further as the 2022 F1 season would progress, given the close battle that the pair shared last season, fans are going to try their best to affect the psyche of the opponent driver. Do you think the fan’s banter these days goes too far?
