RedBull’s ace Max Verstappen crashes out of Virtual LM24

Max Verstappen the Formula1 2021 champion has recently tried his hands at the virtual LM24, while his 2021 Formula1 season was a success, the same was not the case when it came to the 24 hour Le Mans virtual.

It has been stated in racingnews365 that Max Verstappen is out of the 24 hours of Le Mans virtual after crashing around a third of the way into the race.

Max Verstappen’s challenge of winning the competition with his team Redline came to an end last night as he crashed out after going over the kerbs.

Max Verstappen’s eventful outing in virtual LM24

During the qualifying session, Verstappen’s team was beaten to pole position by a fine margin of 0.002seconds. However, the Redline team was able to attain the leader’s position and was able to build a gap of almost 1 minute between them and the next car behind by the 7th hour of the race.

Things were going smoothly for the team until Max Verstappen lost control of his car by going over the kerbs. He slid off the racing track and collided with the wall at high speed which led to the end of his and team Redline’s challenge.

After the incident Team, Redline posted a tweet that read “Endurance racing can be cruel sometimes.”

Nevertheless, an incredible effort by everyone involved. The pace our #123 had out there was nothing short of spectacular.

It seems the Redline was expecting a lot more from their team in terms of performance but has also admitted to the fact that Endurance racing is a cruel sport that demands a hundred percent attention on part of the drivers. One wrong mistake could spell doom for the drivers and it certainly was the case for RedBull’s starlet Max Verstappen.
