“Track conditions were good and the track was improving as we went through. It will be interesting to see what happens overnight but most importantly from our side we just have to find a bit of fine tuning. To have these issues where I am not comfortable with the car,” Perez continued his analysis of Friday’s sessions.
Still, Perez is hopeful that things will still work out this weekend. “We do have good pace. The long run pace seems to be promising if we can find a few tenths we should be in the fight.”
Having said that the Styrian Grand Prix could be either be the end of the Red Bull domination in the 2021 Formula 1 calendar. Or it can be the beginning to embark and signify the Austrian Team’s dominating performance. With Verstappen glowing up in the same form in his home yard, there are couple of drivers who did end up finding the Red Bull Ring tricky.
But as the Qualifying session’s action unfolds tomorrow, it will be interesting to see which driver is able to take the pole and lead his way before heading into the final race on Sunday.
