Why is Max Verstappen not a part of Drive to Survive season 4?

Max Verstappen the 2021 Formula1 world champion is not going to be a part of the Netflix documentary Drive to Survive that is coming out on 11th March on Netflix.
It has been stated in Essentiallysports that after the end of the nerve-wracking 2021 season of Formula1, fans all over the world are eagerly waiting for the Season 4 of drive to Survive on Netflix. However, to the disappointment of Max Verstappen fans, he is not going to be a key figure in Season4.
The Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen rivalry is certainly going to be highlighted in the series but it will not include any sit-down interviews of Max Verstappen.
Max while talking about the documentary in Oct 2021 said, “I understand that it needs to be done to boost the popularity in America. But from my side as a driver, I don’t like being part of it.”
“They faked a few rivalries which they don’t really exist. So I decided to not be a part of it and did not give any more interviews after that because then there is nothing you can show. I am not really a dramatic show kind of person, I just want facts and real things to happen.”
It seems Max is not a huge fan of the Netflix show and therefore doesn’t bother himself with doing Netflix interviews. No matter what the case, it is almost guaranteed that the show is going to cover Max and Lewis’s enthralling 2021 battle and it is going to be a must-watch for the fans of both competitors.
Will Max Verstappen retain his championship in 2022?
The 2022 season of Formula1 is just around the corner and the hype around the season is at an all-time high at the moment given that Formula1 is entering into an era of new regulations, that are being introduced to bring the Formula1 pack closer to each other.
During the 2021 season, only two teams were fighting for the title with Max Verstappen taking away the driver’s championship. However, after looking at the various cars during the first pre-season testing in Barcelona, it is quite safe to say that teams like McLaren and Ferrari are also going to play a part in the title race during 2022 and it is going to make Max Verstappen’s job way more difficult.
The 2022 title battle is going to be split four ways between RedBull, Mercedes, Ferrari, and McLaren, and given the caliber of drivers of these teams, Max Verstappen would have to be at his best during the 2022 season because otherwise, he may see his title slip away during the season.
