Lewis Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton just can’t stay out of the news as he continues to grab headlines as to whether the former champion will return back to Formula 1. When we thought it was done and dusted, there’s another interesting development in this story.
We all were excited and we had concrete reason to be, too. The former seven time world champion had hinted through a plethora of posts and videos on Twitter and intsagram hinting his return. Even one of his photos was captioned, “I’m back.” This had fan across the world buzzing with excitement.
We all know that the controversial end to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix had casted some doubt on the return of the British driver, as he was devastated after a heartbreaking loss at the hands of Max Verstappen in the last lap of the Grand Prix.
New update on Lewis Hamilton as Sky Sports news F1 reporter Craig slater breaks silence

But, as we thought that everything was back to normal. Sky Sports news F1 reporter Craig slater recently broke silence and said that there is still a question mark on the return of the driver.
Slater also pointed out, “He is still waiting for the result of that FIA inquiry, even though he tweeted ‘I’m back.’”
“Even though we learned [on Wednesday] he had been to the Mercedes factory and I can provide a little more detail with regards to what he got up to.“
“He met with engineers, he was in the simulator for the 2022 car and it was explained to me he has a good idea of what’s ahead of him in terms of Mercedes’ readiness for the new season,” he added.
“So a series of meetings, a full day at the factory. But that’s preparation in order that should he be satisfied with the FIA’s findings, he can go ahead and be fully prepared for the new Formula 1 season,” as reported by planetf1.
The new formula 1 season is just round the corner and it’s still uncertain if Lewis Hamilton will be back or not. This is not good news for Mercedes. Since there have been substantial changes in the rules and the cars, the drivers would need more time to adapt even if you are a seven time world champion. We all hope that the issue is settled and we can see the return of Sir Lewis Hamilton, one of the most coveted drivers in the sport.
