The F1 legend had gone off the radar after the Abu Dhabi GP, where he missed out on his record eighth championship title. The driver and his team believed that they were snubbed off the title because of a call made by the race director, Michael Masi, at the end of the race.
Many believed that Lewis Hamilton would announce his retirement after the 2021 F1 season because of the grave injustice that had been done at Abu Dhabi GP, according to Mercedes. However, now seems that the Briton is all but ready to make a comeback in 2022, and fight for a record eighth title.
