Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton

The Saudi Arabian GP is surely living upto its expectations, as the main race was red flagged owing to a crash. The session was stopped on the 14th lap, after Mick Schumacher went crashing into the barriers.

Originally, the race was yellow-flagged which meant that the two Mercedes drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, running P1 and P2 respectively entered the pit stop for a tyre change. However, Red Bull decided to keep Max Verstappen out to take the track position.

In a major turn of events, the session was soon red flagged which means that Max Verstappen gets a free pit stop, and also starts from the top spot in the restart. Sergio Perez pitted prior to the red flag, and has dropped to the eighth spot.
