In a recent interview with SkySports, the well-known American personality and an athlete, Caitlyn Jenner, talked about the upcoming F1 season and the conversation she had with F1’s seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton.

Caitlyn Jenner has launched her team in W-Series, named “Jenner Racing”. W-Series is an all-women championship and will begin its eight race-long third season in Miami, alongside the F1 Miami GP. The series is under contract with F1 and will share eight venues over the year.

Lewis Hamilton took a break from social media post the controversial finale of the 2021 season held in Abu Dhabi. Since then, the Mercedes driver was nowhere to be seen and has only returned just.

While answering the question of how Jenner feels about Hamilton’s last season and her thoughts on last season in general, she said ” I know Lewis, and I talked to him a couple of weeks ago and asked him what is kind of his feelings on the W Series and what he thought about it when I was thinking about getting in and he was very positive, loved the idea.”

She added, “But I just said, thank you for making last season very exciting. I think it was a great season. I’m really excited for next year with Formula One, what Mercedes is going to do, what Red Bull and Honda is going to do, because, you know, he’s going to want to get it back. I think it’s going to be great. And I’m glad that the W Series is there.”

Caitlyn Jenner, mentions her conversation with Lewis Hamilton in California. She says, “He’s in California right now, working out, training every day. Nobody bugs him out in California. He’s very excited for next year.” 

In the end, Jenner shared that she thinks it’s going to be a great year for W-Series. The W-Series will race on three continents this year.
