Although this joy did not last long as the developers realised their mistake pretty soon and revoked the items.

Fortnite accidentally gives away Axe of the Champions: The Axe of Champions changes hands every season, that is only 21 players, who are the best three-player teams from each of Fortnite’s seven competitive regions, can have the item in their possession at any time. This Harvesting Tool has the Fortnite Champion Series Logo on it and is wrapped around a wreath.
It can only be obtained by FNCS Champions Earning the gold-plated pickaxe is a matter of beating out everyone else in a region’s grand finals to become the season’s top team.
Fortnite’s Axe of Champions was introduced last year as a special reward for the winners of the Fortnite Champion Series, the most prestigious event in the battle royale’s official competitive scene. “Oops,” said an official response from Fortnite Competitive. “We’ll be revoking the Axe of Champions from all Grand Royale qualified players and granting it back to just the FNCS seasonal winners from this year until Grand Royale has finished.” So, the only possible way to obtain this Harvesting Tool is by winning the FNCS.
It is the most difficult cosmetic available to obtain since it requires a player to reach Champion League in Arena, so players can keep grinding to get it for real the next time.
