After some days the Fortnite Walking Dead skin collaboration was teased by EPIC Games, the skin has arrived in the store for purchase. The skin has arrived as a skin for Fortnitemares 2021 that will last a whole month to celebrate the onset of Halloween. One of the Fortune Cards Fortnite had teased for its event sports imagery had strongly indicated that ‘The Walking Dead’s Rick Grimes’ is coming to Fortnite, and here he is now. The series which Rick hails from, The Walking Dead AMC series is finally ending with its current Season 11. The current season of The Walking Dead is the final one for AMC. Rick Grimes actor Andrew Lincoln left the series in 2018 but will reprise the role in a trilogy of films. Given the character’s long history with the franchise, it makes perfect sense that the skin has arrived in Fortnite.
The grand event of Fortnitemares 2021 celebrations has already begun yesterday and will run until November 1, 2021, lasting almost a whole month for players to grab some new stuff like skins and more. Some of the additions in this series have already been released and more are on their way. A card to the right of Frankenstein’s Monster that has been released had shown Rick’s trademark hat from the series, thus pointing towards its release, and players had guessed its arrival before it even arrived in the stores.
Rick can be purchased by himself for 1,500 V-Bucks, the 1,900 V-Bucks Rick Grimes Bundle will bring players with the Sheriff’s Duffle Back Bling, the Crashin Satellite Glider, and the Walker Club Pickaxe. Players can also buy the complete Walking Dead collection, the 2,500 V-Bucks Survivors in Arms bundle includes Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and all their items.
