Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 Format, Schedule and Teams Qualified so far

Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 is one of the two regional tournaments that were earlier announced by Garena in the place of the second World series. The event is announced with $400,000 USD and is scheduled to take place in November which comprises two stages, Play-ins and Finals.
Garena has cancelled the Free Fire World Series 2 due to COVID-19, since then players had confusion about what could be the events in the place of it. Then, the developers had announced two new virtual events that are Asia Championship 2021 and EMEA Championship. Both the events are scheduled to take place in November 2021 on the same dates. FFAC 2021 will feature 31 teams from 7 various Regional Leagues. Let us know more about the format of the upcoming global tournament.
Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 Format and schedule
FFAC 2021 will be played in two stages, one is the Play-ins stage and the other is Finals. The play-ins are scheduled to take place on November 20 and 21 while the latter stage is set to take place on November 28, 2021. The top 7 teams/Champions of the most recent regional leagues in the respective regions are directly invited into the FFAC 2021 Finals.

The Play-Ins will be played by a total of 24 teams which are classified into two groups, namely A & B. These are the 24 teams who had placed from 2-5 positions in the respective regional tournaments. Two groups will compete in the Play-ins on November 20 and 21 in which the top 2 teams from each group will make it to the finals. The last team in the Finals will be the team that is placed at the third spot with the best record in the Play-ins stage. A total of five teams will make it to the Finals of the Asia Championship 2021.

- Blacklist International (MCP) – from MCP Majors Season 2
- Team Elite (India) – from Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall
- Hotshot Esports (Pakistan) – from Free Fire Pro League Pakistan Season 2
