Former Intercontinental Champion astonishingly set to make additional WWE NXT appearances regularly

Major WWE Smackdown star is set to appear more frequently on NXT

Whenever any main-roster superstar shows up on WWE NXT these days for some kind of a program or just a normal appearance, fans quickly misconceive that as a demotion. Believe me that’s not the exact case.

One of the greatest examples to prove that this shift has proven overwhelming for a particular superstar, the name quickly pops up as the current NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. She’s about to complete a whole year as the champion and in the meantime, Mandy has climbed up to the next level.

In possibly a same theory, WWE is planning on for Shinsuke Nakamura to make regular appearances on NXT moving forward. We saw, the Artist return to NXT last night where he faced Stacks and easily picked up the win under 6 minutes. This also marked Nakamura’s first televised match on NXT since the 2017 Orlando Takeover event.

Will this begin a new rivalry for Nakamura on WWE’s third brand, this will get clarified soon but it appears like it is going to be the case and Shin will atleast feud with someone there. PWInsider has confirmed that the 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble match winner will be making additional appearances on NXT.

To be very honest, WWE had no significant plans for Nakamura there on main-roster for quite a while and this fact had become more visible as time passed on. He last wrestled more than 2 months ago on Smackdown where he took Gunther to the limits in an epic clash for the Intercontinental Championship, however Shin lost the match.

The bout received massive props from everyone and it quickly became one of the best matches this year produced on free television. Seth Rollins even tweeted out his own appreciation for the two athletes who took the entire WWE Universe on a thrill ride.
