Garrett Wilson, who is Jets’ WR1, is all in on Davante Adams reuniting with Aaron Rodgers in New York
Despite a tough season and the potential of fewer targets with Davante Adams, Garrett Wilson is eager to play alongside the All-Pro receiver.

Garrett Wilson is on board with Davante Adams joining the New York Jets. From Wilson’s point of view, it will be cool to play alongside the All-Pro receiver.
The Las Vegas Raiders have unofficially benched the 31-year-old, stating that he has a hamstring problem. In the meantime, Adams received permission to speak with potential trade partners.
It’s a known fact that Adams wants to play with old Green Bay Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers. The Jets are 2-2 after four games this season but look disjointed in offense.
Garrett Wilson only has 20 receptions for 191 yards and one touchdown after four games. The former first-round pick knows at the back of his head that if Davante Adams joins, he might see more passes, but that’s not his concern. Wilson is excited by the rumors.

Wilson’s statement comes right after he appeared on The Bart and Hahn show, where he indirectly took aim at offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, claiming that the offense is stale.
Interesting comments from Garrett Wilson on @BartAndHahn. Obviously, he's frustrated by his slow start. On the #Jets offensive identity:

“I don’t think we do a lot of different stuff to be honest. I watch football on Sundays and I see a lot of teams mix it up and stuff like…
Insider sources revealed that they wanted to cut Hackett, but he still remains. It will be interesting to see Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams side by side in a Nathaniel Hackett offense.
Garrett Wilson hopes that the Jets offense will finally click this week
After a miserable defeat to the Denver Broncos in week 4, in which the offense just scored 9 points, Wilson believes they will turn it on in week 5. Wilson remains optimistic about the Jets’ chances of playing post-season football.
However, it will be a difficult task to score points against the Minnesota Vikings, who are among the two teams that have won all four games this season (the Kansas City Chiefs the other). The Vikings have restricted their opponents to under 20 points in three games (under 10 twice).
If the Jets want to win, they need to score touchdowns. Currently, the Vikings are -2.5 points favorites to secure their fifth win of the season.
