Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most loved footballers out there with a massive following. Likely so, his fans are very invested in his family life with his longtime girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez. While the two are highly regarded as the ultimate it couple, they are not without criticisms.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are famously in a high-profile relationship which comes with heightened public attention. Their fans are hugely invested in every update the couple chooses to give them of their mundane life. Rodriguez’s Netflix show “I am Georgina”, the fans were thrilled to see the couple opening up to the public.
In one of the episodes, the model shared the jabs she received for not having married Ronaldo. She further added that she would have loved to be a wife but it wasn’t her decision.
In another segment, Cristiano Ronaldo was also pressured with the question of their wedding. The Argentina footballer answered that he would proceed when the two found that sign, leaving ambiguity in time. The clip resurfaced on the internet when Netflix’s Spanish Instagram handle posted it asking the big question. The show celebrates three years of its release and yet the question remains for the fans.
Regardless, a ring doesn’t stop the couple from gaining their legendary status. Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together since 2016 and have two children Alana Martina, and Bella. She is also a stepmother to his other three kids: twins Eva and Mateo, and Cristiano Jr. Contradictorily, there are several speculations that the two have already married. The claims come from momentary hints from the couple addressing each other as husband and wife.

There have been several claims that Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriquez have kept their marriage private to the public. The speculations have intensified since the last year and the fans bring evidence for the theories. The Al Nassr and Portugal striker launched his instantly viral YouTube channel and surprised his fans with an episode with his girlfriend Rodriquez.
In one of the segments of the video uploaded back in August 2024, Ronaldo reflexively addresses Georgina as his ‘wife’. That wasn’t the first time the legendary footballer has called her his wife. He has slipped it in one of his promotional videos and even in interviews dictating his daily routine.
No one can tell if the instances have been intentional or momentary slips. In a recent Award acceptance speech at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, Ronaldo mentioned his ‘wife’ Georgina who was there to support him along with their son. Therefore the fans have good reason to believe that the couple is only yet to announce their relationship status.
