Gervonta Davis recently secured another KO against Frank Martin in Las Vegas. This win took his record to an unbelievable 30-0 in professional boxing. As such, Stephen A. Smith was full of praise for the 29-year-old undefeated boxer. He even called the WBA lightweight champion the most exciting fighter in boxing.
Stephen A. Smith is a host at First Take on ESPN. During one of its latest runs, his co-host asked Smith if Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis is the most exciting fighter in boxing.

Smith commented on Davis’s recent fight against Frank Martin. He gave props to Martin but said he clearly lacked the power to stop Gervonta Davis from “stalking” him from the beginning. Stephen A. Smith said Davis is not given enough credit for his boxing and called him a knockout artist and an elite boxer.
Gervonta Davis and Frank Martin headlined the main event, fighting for the WBA lightweight title. ‘Tank’ delivered a stellar knockout against Martin in the eighth round thus securing his 28th knockout victory. With that, Davis moved up to 30-0, while delivering Martin his first professional loss in his career. However, the 29-year-old boxer is ready for his next fight, this time a rematch.

Ryan Garcia was present at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for Davis’s fight against Martin. Garcia sported a bold ‘Rematch me B*tch’ shirt with ‘Tank’s #1 fan’ written in front. They had previously fought last year in April at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
Davis reacted to Garcia’s callout after the fight at the press conference. Davis’s statement was that Garcia was ‘cr*zy’ and that he was ready to beat him again.

Ryan Garcia vs. Gervonta Davis ended with Davis scoring a seventh-round knockout victory over Garcia. Davis delivered a powerful left hand to Garcia’s body, which prevented Garcia from being unable to continue. This marked Garcia’s first professional loss, bringing Davis’s record to 29-0 with 27 knockouts.
