“What is the incentive for practice given what these guys are doing for guaranteed money? What motivates someone to go out and work in the mud? I fail to understand how such action benefits many of these players in the long run.”

DeChambeau asserts that he values Tiger’s viewpoint. The 2020 U.S. Open champion reportedly added, “I have high regard for Tiger; look, this wouldn’t be existing if it weren’t for Tiger.” This is according to Bob Harig of the Morning Read. “I, therefore, have the utmost appreciation for what he did for golf and the PGA Tour in order for us to have this opportunity.”

DeChambeau is optimistic that he and Tiger will be able to communicate once more shortly. He continued, “I have the utmost regard for what he has to say. I’m going to strive even harder to demonstrate that I’m worth that price for me personally, for me to be my own human being.”

“We used to be quite close, but we haven’t spoken in a while. Hopefully, we will one day, and I’m always up for a chat with anyone. I don’t have a problem with it, and I hope we can agree to disagree on it.”
